Art Games

Objective:  To work collaboratively within a group and use your knowledge of art concepts to create a game or activity that others can play or complete.

Steps:

1.  Separate into groups of two or three people. 

2.  Choose one of the following games for your group to create:

            crosswords puzzle

            puzzle

            word find

            scavenger hunt

            art bingo

            charades

            board game

            art jeopardy   

            wheel of art

            art trivia

            flashcards

            picture differences

            hidden pictures within pictures

            paint by numbers

            picture story

            what's wrong (silly things that don't fit)

            paper dolls

3.  Use your textbook, vocabulary lists, past projects, memory, imagination, and each other to come up with the following aspects of your game:

            rules

            playing pieces

            illustrations

            questions

            problems to solve

            anything that someone might need to complete your activity

4.  When your game is finished, share with other groups.

5.  You will be graded on creativity, group participation, and the challenge presented by the completed game.
