Objectives:  To draw houses.  To study color schemes and types of patterns.

Steps:

1.  Draw your house on a piece of 12x18 drawing paper. 

2.  Draw your tree from the tree exercise in the picture with your house.

3.  Draw nine lines across your paper, dividing it into ten sections.

5.  Color each section with a different color scheme.  The color schemes are:

            neutral colors

            primary colors

            secondary colors   

            intermediate colors   

            complimentary colors

            split-complimentary colors

            warm colors

            cool colors

            analogous colors

            monochromatic

6.  Outline the house and tree with a black sharpie.
