Objective:  To understand the history of molas and to demonstrate the rendition of a mola.

Steps:

1.  View some examples of molas.

2.  A mola is a combination of shapes to create a larger picture, as seen in the examples from the above website.

3.  In pencil, draw a minimum of five thumbnail sketches of different mola ideas.

4.  Choose one, with the help of your instructor, to enlarge.

5.  Draw your mola on a sheet of 3x3 ft. paper.

6.  Apply solid colors with the medium of your choice.

7.  Apply color to the entire composition.
