Surrealism

Objective:  To study the artistic style of Surrealism by looking at the works of Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali.  To understand the concept of surrealism.  To demonstrate the ability to produce a surrealistic illustration.

Steps:

1.  Look at the following sites to see examples of Surrealism.

2.  Draw a minimum of five thumbnail sketches of your own ideas for a surrealistic illustration.  Surrealism is something that appears to be real but isn't.

3.  Using the medium of your choice, complete your own surrealistic illustration.
